A beautiful, wonderfully preserved early 20th-century antique Gothic/Beehive style mantel clock crafted by the renowned Seth Thomas Clock Company. This particular clock features a premium, substantial cherry wood cabinet with a fine, smooth grain and a gorgeous deep reddish-brown finish that remains in excellent condition.

Unlike most smaller standard versions found online, this custom-scaled cabinet features an upgraded large 5-inch dial face to beautifully fill out the architectural archway.
  • Condition & Functionality: The clock runs beautifully and keeps excellent time. It has been manually calibrated to an accurate rhythm using the adjustable rating nut on the pendulum bob. The original small wooden rear dust cover door is missing (a simple replacement could easily be fashioned if desired). Additionally, the micro-regulator adjustment on the front dial face remains untested, as the clock was safely and accurately calibrated directly via the pendulum bob. The front hinged door sags slightly when opened due to wear at the hinge point, but latches flush when closed. Please see photos.
  • Dial & Glass: Features a gorgeous 5” dial face. The protective front glass bezel is in mint condition with exceptional, crystal-clear clarity.
  • Dimensions: 13 ¼" Height x 8 ¾" Width x 4 ⅞" Depth
  • Movement Details: Driven by a genuine, iconic Seth Thomas Number 89 mechanical 8-day time-and-strike movement (Stamped "ST Made in U.S.A.").
  • Chime Pattern: Strikes beautifully on a deep, resonant cathedral gong wire—chiming once on the half-hour and counting out the full tally on the hour.
  • What’s Included: Comes complete with the adjustable pendulum assembly and the winding key.
A stunning, highly functional piece of American horological history perfect for a mantel, office desk, or personal antique collection.
